I was goofing around and I uploaded to YouTube a very tiny 3 second clip of Jennifer and our two youngest daughters - from about 3 years ago. Elizabeth is in the middle.Yesterday we had our worship service in the day room and it was great. Afterwards Jennifer and the kids went home and Elizabeth and me spent the day together. We had a couple of families which visited, which really brighted her day. Elizabeth tried her hand at drawing and was able to make a couple of pictures (e.g. Sponge Bob and Patrick Star) with her right hand. We had a wonderful day together and her eyes welled up with tears when I had to leave.
Today is my first day back at work, with Jennifer’s mom taking care of Monique and Megan, and Jennifer at the hospital with Elizabeth. I don’t know how we would manage without all our friends and family – Thank you! Brian
Psalm 127:3a “Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD”
Edit: To my delight my employer informed me that they are going to count six days (of the seven already taken off) as sick days. Leaving me an additional six days in 2007 from which to help Jennifer and to visit Elizabeth at the hospital. Praise G*d for that bit of news! – Brian

This is sobering because, at the moment, Elizabeth is unable to do that….we take SO many simple things for GRANTED! Praying that soon, if it’s His Will, that she’ll be able to do MORE than that again! Anyway, my first job is in New Providence and I may well get a chance to swing by and see her later this morning, LW…..
That is the cutest wigglie video EVER!!!! And Jenn is the world’s cutest Mom. Thank you for all of the updates. It is so wonderful to see the joy you all have in the middle of this crisis with Elizabeth. I heard Joni Tada once say that joy is not the absence of pain and suffering, it is the presence of Jesus in our lives. You all have such joy and it is contagious as you continue to share with us. Thank you for showing what that means!
Dearest Jennifer, my sister in the Lord and friend:
I am so sorry I haven’t been able to visit Elizabeth but please let her know that I am thinking and praying for her daily. Perhaps my schedule this week will allow me some time to visit her at the hospital. Tell Elizabeth I said, “Hello” and obey the wheelchair traffic laws. LoL.:wink-wink:
Also, I pray for you and Brian as well. This is not an easy thing and yet I see the Lord working in you and Brian for the express purpose of glorifying HIM and depending on HIM. Praise God for helpful grandparents.
In Christ’s Love,
Andrea
Just tried to CALL you guys, no answer!!!! I just posted a vid of BETH giving a special greeting for Elizabeth……..Hahaha!!!!
i checked out some of the older posts here after visiting clintspirations site, i think it is wonderful that she looks like she is smiling through all of this. I am praying for a speedy recovery and that God will give back to her anything the enemy tries to steal from her. also that he will fill you, your family, and your daughter with a peace that passes understanding when the enemy tries to put doubts in your minds.
