  • Jennifer has informed me that while sitting on a mat yesterday, Elizabeth was able to move the upper part of her left leg enough to lightly kick a ball.   Jennifer was so caught off guard she had to ask if that was her left leg or was Elizabeth merely using her hip to throw her leg.   This would be the first time we would have confirmation that there is life in the left leg.    The physical therapist confirmed that it was indeed her leg!

I should also mention that Elizabeth mentioned to me that her right hand has made some improvement in the last few days.   Praise G*d!

This evening I’ll be at the hospital and to give Jennifer a much-needed break.  While Elizabeth has her own room – I was told that there is a lot of noise and the door being opened makes sleeping difficult.   I don’t think Jennifer has had much sleep in the last three weeks – which doesn’t help.    Please keep her in prayer as she drives back and forth from New Brunswick.

  • oh PRAISE GOD!!!!!  :celebrate:

    My prayers continue!

  • Jenn,

I have been trying to keep on things that are happening with you and your dear family.  I have been out of town for two weeks and therefore have not been able to check in with you.  Please know that you are in my prayers and that I am thinking of you constantly.  In all of the issues that I face currently, I know that what you are facing is a pain so deep and different than what I am facing.  Your trials have helped me not to wallow in self pity for my current losses.  Thank you for being a shining example of what God wants us to be.

    Love in Christ,

    Karen

  • Lord Willing I hope to swing by tm’w afternoon….

  • Thar is reat/ I am praying

  • Dearest Jenn,

I know that this a lot for you and sometimes your heart feels heavy. However, in the midst of it all, know that God’s grace is sufficient for you. 2 Cor. 11:9.  This is one of my favorite verses in remembering that all sufficient grace. Although I haven’t talked to you in a while, I continue to pray for Elizabeth. Praise God for the progress as small as it may be, progress is progress.

    Tell Elizabeth I said, “Hello”.

    Love,  Andrea

  • We are so thrilled to hear this good news! Praise God!

Kevin is hoping to be in the US and to drop by and see you all while he’s there.

  • I am so happy to hear of the progress she is making.  Still praying.  Sheila

  • Jenn,

I am so sorry that you have to go through this.   This is great news, though, that she is making these small steps of progress.  God is faithful and will see you through this.

She’s in a good place.  Johnny spent a couple of years doing outpatient therapy with Children’s Specialized Hospital (in Toms River) and we saw significant progress.  You’re in a new building, too, which is nice.  RWJ is Johnny’s hospital.  They have a great staff there.

Please know that you’re in my prayers.

    Love,  Suzanne
