Good Morning!!
Well, I managed to cut out coffee totally. I’m back to drinking organic herbal teas from Trader Joes. I really had too. The diet I’m on helps keeping my hormones in check. When my hormones go wild , I start feeling anxious, depressed, and start having weird thoughts. That’s where I’ve been the last few days. When I stick to the low carb diet, eat more veggies and cut out all processed foods, caffeine and alcohol. I feel much better!

I’m exercising more too. My new exercise routine is to wear a pedometer. (It’s a little gadget that you clip on yourself and it measures your foot steps for the day. My hubby, Brian bought me one. And since he has I’ve done more walking. Sometimes I compete with him, to see who took the most steps and sometimes I just compete with my self to do better then the day before (or at least maintain
). I’ve gotten alot done yesterday and today already. I read bits & pieces of “The Messies Manual” (check above) and got inspired to get my butt moving. My schedule for just focusing on a room a day without a huge list of what to dos seems to be working out so far. Will have to do it for a longer period of time to be sure.
Well, I better run if I want to come around and get some commenting done on your posts before I gotta get back to work.
Have a great day!
Jenn

I hope you have a good day!! I love Trader Joe’s!!
I’d love to have a pedometer! One thing I try to do is make half a dozen trips up & down our stairs… & I try to not just saunter, but get clipping. Congrats on cutting out the coffee! Have a great day! ~Lori
I love using my pedometer too, I try to outbeat my steps from the day before.:dancingcow: I got up to 16,000 steps one day! :big-smile:
I too feel better not eating junk, i haven’t had sugar or any junk food for this past 5 days. I sure miss that chocolate though! :blushing:
Have a great day!
Kudos for sticking to the diet! Is Brian doing low-carb, too?
Sounds like your system is working. Hope it continues in the long run!
I love that FLOWER pic you have up on this post!!!
sounds like things are going well..
Sounds like you’re motivated and doing well!
I always feel better on a healthier diet, too.
Giving up the caffeine is not easy.. but it’s well worth it.
Blessings,
Becca :big-smile:
Hi Jenn,
Just returning the hello
I actually don’t use my xanga blog- I had to create a profile to be able to comment on friends blogs. My actual blog is pslam42-2.blogspot.com if you’d like to check it out. Nice meeting you!
Wow! Good for you Jenn! I need to buy one of pedometers myself. Enjoy your weekend!
Blessings today and always..
