I’ve got my corned beef and cabbage cooking in the crock pot
! I’ve got carrots and potatoes in the there too. I will also be making my mother-in-law’s irish soda bread and we’ll have ice cream sandwiches made with brownies and chocolate chip mint ice cream for dessert. Are you having anything special in honor of the day?
Except for my allergies (which aren’t too bad today yet) the weekend was pretty good. I managed to get a fair amount of stuff done despite myself.
I have many things I would like to get done this week but haven’t quite figured out when I’m going to get it all done. I want to start some seeds in doors. I’m thinking some herbs and some morning glories. One year I planted some morning glories in front of my house and they climbed up a lamp post and just looked beautiful there. I’d like to see if I could get that done again. I also need to go dress shopping for my brother’s wedding (which is in May, which is in Jamaica.) Plus all the other normal running around and weekly chores.
Well, better go figure out my day. Hope you have a great one.

Have a wonderful day! ~Lori
I forgot about that picture with your face on it! That’s a riot.
Can’t wait for dinner. Sounds great. The only way that you can top yourself is to bring out dinner dressed in green and dancing a jig.

Have a wonderful St. Patrick’s Day Dinner!!! I love the picture at the top with your face in it…neat!!!
If my oldest son were here I would be making corned beef and cabbage – the rest of my family does not like that. :brokenheart: Do you have room for one more?! :flirty:
The children and I are starting some plants today for the garden and hopefully I can get my plum tree planted today – it is just beautiful out!

So neat the picture of you up there in the graphic..I was wondering what Brian was talking about!! I can say that Spring has finally arrived here, the weather today is just sunny and gorgeous. We went out for a drive and saw a parade and lots of entertainment…lots of green..Enjoy your dinner.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!!!!
@HanleyBri - Brian, just added you in my Protected area!!!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Your dinner sounds delicious. Mine is sitting back in NJ in the fridge, but we won’t be eating it because we’re not there. The sink fell out again and we took off for Va for a few days.
Hope you have a good day!
Enjoy that dinner, sounds delicious to me!
