We had a very nice day yesterday. I went thru some cookbooks found recipes to try, won an apron off of Ebay , did normal house chores, and went to Trader Joe’s. Monique had to go to the library after school (she is working there) but once Brian got home the festivities began. On went the Irish music and then later a movie based in Ireland while I got the irish soda bread ready. ( I never did make the brownies for dessert , I just ran out of steam-happens more often with the allergies, so we just had ice cream-which no one complained about
)Everyone really enjoyed the dinner.
Here’s what we had:
And here we are just being us:
(Brian said my lime green sweat shirt didn’t count as green.
)Looks like we have a “Manly Hanley” nite planned (March 28th). That’s a nite when a few guy freinds of Brian’s get together at my house for dinner and a movie. Us ladies (me and the girls) have a movie nite of our own upstairs in my room where we also have a picnic on the floor so not to disturb the men. It’s a good thing.
I’m not sure what’s on my agenda for the day, except for the regular stuff and a trip to the grocery store. I’m gonna go dress shopping later in the week but I might go to Wal-mart today to get the stuff I need to start my seeds indoors.
Oh and the doctor called last nite and said that Megan had strep throat! I was really surprised because she seemed so well! So after picking up Monique and the library I picked up her medicine.
Hope you all have a blessed day in Him!
Jenn

Hahaha, yes I’m looking forward to Manly Hanley Movie night……tell Brian I mentioned it to STAN, who said he will only come if it’s renamed Many STANLEY Movie Night!!! Hahaha, no seriously, he reminded me that Andrea’s surgery is on the 26th….
I’m glad Manly Hanley Night is on FRIDAY, “Lifetime” usually doesn’t show movies that night!!!!! Hahaha
You and Brian should check out my buddy MIKE’S site (http://www.xanga.com/irishrev). He just posted a video of his new son!!!! I know Mike and Adele from Living Hope, BTW…..he used to attend in the evenings BEFORE Pat Malone came along…..
I think I’ll hop over to the doctor today then! We may need antibiotics, too.
Your corned beef and cabbage looks lovely. And I think lime green counts. It’s got to be one of the forty shades of green!
Is your sore throat better? You might have strep as well. I tend to be careful about strep because left untreated it can be serious.
We’re already feeling a lot better after a few doses of the antibiotics.
Thinking of you and your family and hoping you had a great Easter holiday.
Take care,
Karen
Keep hanging in there. The picture of you all looks great. Lovely family time!
