Good Morning!
I’m still feeling pretty well (Praise the Lord). I’ve been a busy bee
and got alot done today already. (3 loads of wash – yes they are even put away- good start on daily chores, made rice krispie treats and wrote a grocery list.) Thinking about baking some bread this morning. My air conditioner had been on the blink for almost 2 weeks
and I didn’t want to bake or cook a thing! It got fixed yesterday (cost a pretty penny too but at least it’s fixed!) . Today the girls have swimming lessons, so we will probably go a little early to get in some fooling around time. We can’t stay late cause Monique has to be at the library by 3:00.
Well, I’m gonna go and get started on the bread. Have a great one.

Hello Jenn, so glad you are feeling well. You have been a busy bee this morning. Have a great day!!!
You got a lot accomplished already!! Hope you have a wonderful day!
:celebrate: I am so glad to hear that you are feeling good! It sounds like you had a very productive day! Doesn’t that feel so good to get things accomplished in the day?
We have had some pretty warm days here but very cool in the evenings. Enough so that we have thought about turning off the ac. I love sleeping with the windows open. :sleepy: It makes for good sleeping.
xoxoxoxo Cat
I am thrilled you are doing so much better. One day at a time!!!
Good to hear from you! I’m in Indiana on a hotel computer so can’t talk LONG….
Our central a/c died last year and we just couldn’t afford to spend over $3000 for a new system, so we had to buy 4 window a/c for the bedrooms and living room. not as good, but it does keep us cool. Glad you were able to get yours fixed.:so-cool:
Have a blessed day! :birdie:
II’m jealous because you can bake bread! Mine is a failure every time. :
@mrsgrovine - Don’t be jealous…mine is hit or miss this last batch while still yummy tasting came out very flat! :sigh: I was rushing it a bit….might try again today- I’ve got more time. Have a great day Mrs. G. -Jenn :dancingcow:
Thanks for replying. The last time I made bread (sourdough), my husband broke a tooth on it!!! I guess I let the crust get too hard. An $87 loaf of bread. The dentist was able to smooth the tooth down, which is why the bill was “only” $87! I-yi-yi!!!::
:big-smile:Thanks for the note.. Things are going along.. My hubby is leading a mission trip to Brazil in a couple of weeks…. so I will me without him and all of my kids for 14 days!! Oh My.. I am staying home to hold down the fort..
Huggs,
Kim

Do you recall the (great) article “Even When It’s Hottest, Dress Modest?” you wrote for my Newsletter, in ’96?
I recently, on my NEWSLETTER site (http://www.xanga.com/alloutonline), reprinted MARTHA’s piece on that topic and would like to reprint yours, as WELL
I wanted to check that you didn’t MIND though. When you get a chance, check the site and see how I reprinted MARTHA’S and LMK if I can do the same with YOURS.
I won’t go ahead until and unless you give me a green light.
If I do indeed reprint what you wrote there, I could link HERE if you want so my customers can visit you……again, YOUR decision!!!!
Have a blessed week
Chet
P.S., Martha’s is the 7th post down, from July 22nd……
If you get a chance, please welcome JOEL to XANGA!!!!
