    Good Morning!

Well, today is the first day back to school for us!   The summer went sooo fast! Monique is in 10th grade and the high school spends their first few days at a camp retreat.  So I won’t see Monique until Thursday.   Elizabeth is in Junior High this year.  She is in the 6th grade and she now has a locker and switches for every class. And last, but not least, Megan is in first grade.  She was a little behind last year in the reading department but over the summer she improved greatly!  She was soooo excited about starting first grade!

Brian had the last 3 weeks off for vacation but he went back to work today too.   So , it’s just me and the dog!

I know that I felt better over the summer (much less anxiety and depression) because I am really going to miss having everyone around.   I know it sounds terrible but by the end of most summers I am looking forward to everyone going back.  But I think because I have such a hard time with the depression and anxiety and dealing with everyone all the time.   Thank the Lord , I’m doing better.

I wasn’t as organized about getting everyone ready for school as I normally am but I’m happy to say that everyone had everything they needed today.   Woo-Hoo!  (I had my doubts a couple days ago.)  I even made some awesome French Toast for breakfast!

Yesterday was an awesome Lord’s Day (even though I had a terrible headache, it’s gone now.)  We went to church in the morning and then in the evening I planned on listening to a sermon on Sermon Audio.  (We listened to a pastor named David Murray)  Monique and Elizabeth elected to listen with me and we were all truly blessed by the message and listening and talking about it together.

Hope you all have a blessed day!  I gotta figure out my new schedule of life now that everyone is gone.

    Jenn

  • I can’t imagine having everyone gone….  It’s strange enough w/ Darci moved out & Caitlin working all the time, but the littler ones?

Hope you get a great schedule worked out!

  • Wow, didn’t school used to start AFTER Labor Day in New jersey? Seems EARLY this year! Left you a message on BRIAN’S site…..

  • Hard to believe that it’s back to school time already. Glad to know that everyone got off alright!

So what are your plans and projects now that you have your days to yourself?

  • Mine are both in college this fall. It sure is quiet around here! :sleepy:

  • Hi Jen,

I will be experecin the quiet too. Praying for you.

  • Hi Mrs. Hanley,

What sermon did you listen to? I’m happy to hear things are going well with you.

  • Hi Jenn!

It’s been a long time, I know but I finally wondered back to the world of Xanga.  *lol*

Wow, I can’t get over the kids being that old and Monique is in 10th grade?   Time really does fly, doesn’t it?!

    Love,

     Jennelle
