    cup of tea

    Good Morning!

I have been sooo busy lately.  I got a part time job.  In the mornings I work as a receptionist for an auto mechanic shop for 3 hours from 9:00 to 12:00pm.   Then Monique had so many afterschool activities (work, soccer, play practice)  going on, Megan has Irish dance lessons on Tuesdays, I had a knitting class on Mondays and Elizabeth has therapy on Thursdays at a facility that is a good hour a way. Plus, I have a sick neighbor who I spend alot of time helping. The schedule was too much for me so Xanga just didn’t make the list. (Plus, I discovered Facebook, which I really enjoy because it’s alot less demanding but you can still keep in touch with people.) Though I have missed you all here at Xanga that aren’t on Facebook.

Monique is now just down to working (at the library) a couple days a week after school, my knitting class is done and therapy should be over in a couple weeks so my crazy life should calm down some.  Also, my job is just temporary.  I took it knowing that my boss, would be looking for someone else who would be willing to work full time.  So I won’t be working much longer either.  I started working just to help with the tuition payments for the girl’s school.  My boss, Eddy (who is a lovely Christian man)  says that I might be able to do some work for him from home.   That would be so wonderful if it works out!

My wonderful hubby, Brian said that I might be able to go to Florida to see my parents and sister at the end of Dec.  We would like all of us to go but we think it would be too much money.  I am sooo excited.

I am able to blog today because my girls have off from school because of teachers convention (they have off tomorrow too) and I told Eddy, (my boss) when I took the job that I have to be off when the girls are.

I plan on really digging in and getting my house straightened out these next 3 days.  Something has to go when your so busy and my house is falling to the wayside.

I hope you have all been well!

    Jenn

  • Great post, but I hope you’ll never refer to ME as a “lovely Christian man”, Hahahaha!!! Jk, jk…..that’s something I would never have to worry about ANYway…..

So, you been on FACEBOOK, huh??? Hmmmmmm

Isn’t it about a year since Elizabeth’s affliction? I am SO thankful that was TEMPORARY, not PERMANENT!!!

  • BTW, with this WEATHER it’s a GREAT day for the girls to have off…..

  • Facebook is awesome, but I still didn’t know you were working and all the details of what’s going on with you.. I have friends that cross-post their Xangas and Facebooks, but I don’t know how to do that yet.

Anyway, I hope you have a great time straightening up your house! It was really nice to get most of my house clean for Mom’s visit, at lest for a few hours. I know that carpets trap dirt, but I sure wish I had some dirt trappers around here sometimes.!

  • Facebook is fun, isn’t it???  That’s great that the girls are keeping busy, although it’s always nice to be able to slow down a bit, too!

Enjoy your time with your girls this weekend.  Public schools had their teacher’s convention last week.  It was nice to have Johnny home those two days!

  • Hi Jenn!

I have to be about one of the only people I know who doesn’t do the facebook or the myspace thing.   *lol*

How did you like your knitting class?   I used to knit when I was a kid and could make mittens but it’s been so long I wouldn’t know where to start at now if I wanted to.

Also tried here a few years ago but for some reason knitting hurt my eyes more than crocheting does [not sure why!]

Anyways, I hope things work out so that you can go down to Florida!

    Love,

    Jennelle
